They might not be the most traditional egg roll, but this is the way i enjoy making them. Seal the outside edge with a little bit of the flour paste (plain flour dissolved in water).

Set aside while you repeat this with the remaining ingredients. Place in hot oil, final corner of wrap down and fry until golden. Place wrappers into the oven and allow to bake until crispy, about 5 to 7 minutes.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg white, sesame oil and arrowroot until frothy. Add sesame oil, cool for at least 15 minutes, and strain. Preheat oven to 350 f.

Lay out one egg roll skin with a corner pointed toward you. Brush a bit of the flour paste on the final corner to help seal the egg roll. My version is a large double wrapped spring roll that has an egg crepe inside.

Roll until the end of the tofu skin. Season with salt and pepper. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Repeat this technique with all 8 egg rolls. It is really filling and tasty. Stir fry for 3 minutes.

Top with two halves of a shrimp, then roll up. Southwest egg rolls, skinny baked vegetarian egg rolls with peanut sauce, southwestern egg rolls, etc. Tightly roll the egg roll from the bottom to the top open corner.

Step 2 heat a deep skillet over high heat until 1 or 2 drops of water bubble when sprinkled in. Roll up the bottom part of the skin, tuck the shrimp tightly. Take out of the oven and set aside.

Add the onions and garlic, continue to cook for 2 minutes.
